Job summary

PERSOL is seeking a dedicated Technical Trainer to execute L3 learning programs for field service staff and MCCs. The role includes developing training materials, coordinating logistics, and ensuring safety at training sites.

The candidate will also drive innovation in learning, coordinate vendor tools, and lead skill contests to enhance practical understanding. This position is based in India, Kerala, with on-site responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in conducting technical training sessions.

• Knowledge of safety protocols in field service environments.

Responsibilities

• Execute L3 learning programs for field service staff and MCCs to improve technical knowledge.
• Monitor groups at workstations to ensure consistent quality and safety.
• Coordinate transportation, boarding and lodging for trainees.
• Collect post-training feedback, plan actions, and follow up after training.
• Ensure training aids, instruments, tools, and gauges are prepared and maintained.
• Develop learning modules and bulletins for new models and advanced technology.
• Coordinate with vendors for special tools and equipment development.
• Complete assigned projects within the scheduled timeframe.
• Bring innovation to learning through interactive methods and animations.
• Organize and execute technical skill contests for channel partners.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

1. Execution of L3 learning programs for field service staff (domestic & International Business) and MCCs to improve their technical knowledge and skill.

• Execution of technical training for TMs on 3-on-1 concept.
• Monitoring of each group on each workstation to ensure same pace of work quality with effective and speedy learning for better grasping and to ensure safety.
• Coordination for transportation, boarding and lodging arrangement.
• Post Training feedback, Action Plan & Evaluation of participants on parameters of training. Follow up with participants to close the Action plans after 3 months from date of training.
• Ensure the vehicles engines, instruments and gauges required for training are prepared and maintained.
• Ensure availability of parts and consumable required during Practical.
• Ensure the training aids are in good condition and functional.

2. Ensure effective learning material development on new model & advance technology.

• Support in preparation of Learning modules and other technical bulletins
• Tear down activity to study / identify new product features and technologies. Requirement of new special tools, equipment or gauges for performing maintenance and repair jobs.
• Coordinate with vendors for Special tools and equipment development.

3. Ensure the completion of assigned Projects in stipulated time. Daily update and monitoring of the activities related to projects.

4. Bring Innovation in Learning

• Find innovative ways to make learning interactive
• Develop working models/ animations of complex engineering designs for easy understanding of participants

5. Execution of Technical Skill Contest for channel partners workshop staff.

• Develop on theoretical and practical questionnaires and simulate problems in vehicle.
• Coordinate for boarding and lodging.
• Execute contest at Zonal and National Level as per process and guidelines.
• Coordinate for preparation at outdoor venues.
