Fresh MSc graduates with interest in extraction, formulation, testing and characterization of natural colours for food applications are welcome to apply. You will work hands-on in extraction, formulation, testing and characterization of natural colours, with guidance from the R&D team.

Qualifications

• MSc in Food Science/Technology, Chemistry, Botany or related field.
• Hands-on lab experience preferred.
• Freshers / 0–1 year experience in a lab setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct lab experiments for extraction and formulation of natural colours.
• Assist in developing and optimizing natural colour formulations.
• Perform routine lab testing, observations and analyses.
• Maintain accurate experimental records and reports.
• Support stability and application trials of formulations.
• Follow lab safety, hygiene and QA procedures.

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated R&D Trainee to join our Natural Colour Formulation & Extraction Lab. The role involves hands‑on laboratory work in the extraction, formulation, testing and characterization of natural colours for food and related applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory experiments for extraction and formulation of natural colours from plant-based sources.
• Assist in developing and optimizing natural colour formulations.
• Perform routine laboratory testing, observations and analytical evaluations.
• Maintain accurate experimental records, lab documentation and reports.
• Support stability, compatibility and application trials of natural colour formulations.
• Follow laboratory safety, hygiene and quality procedures.
• Assist the R&D team in scale‑up trials and troubleshooting as required.

Candidate Profile

• Fresh MSc graduates in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry or Botany.
• Strong interest in R&D, natural products, food ingredients, extraction and formulation.
• Good laboratory skills and a methodical approach to experimentation.
• Basic understanding of analytical techniques and scientific documentation.
• Good observation, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Willingness to work hands‑on in a laboratory environment.
