Job Description
Key Skills Required:
1. Technical & Mechanical Knowledge
- Understanding of mechanicalcomponents, tools, and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and work instructions.
- Familiarity with mechanical assembly processes.
2. Inventory & Materials Management
- Experience with kitting procedures and inventory control.
- Ability to track parts and materials using SAP.
- Strong understanding of stock rotation, part traceability, and shelf-life management.
- Experience leading a team, assigning tasks, and monitoring performance.
- Training and mentoring team members on kitting procedures and safety standards.
- Strong conflict resolution and communication skills.
4. Attention to Detail
- High accuracy in picking and verifying parts to prevent shortages or mis-kits.
- Documentation of any discrepancies and quality checks.
5. Organization & Time Management
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- Managing multiple kitting projects simultaneously without errors.
- Clear communication with procurement, Production, assembly, warehouse, and engineering teams.
- Reporting status updates and resolving part or kit issues effectively.
7. Safety & Compliance
- Knowledge of workplace safety practices related to mechanical parts handling.
- Ensuring compliance with company and industry standards.
8. Problem-Solving
- Quickly addressing issues such as missing parts, documentation errors, or incorrect kit assemblies.
