Hawa Valves in Navi Mumbai is seeking a motivated Trainee Engineer to support processing customer orders from receipt to delivery. The role offers exposure to project coordination, engineering documentation, and manufacturing processes within the valve industry.

You will work with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Production, Planning, QA, and Procurement to ensure timely order execution, documentation submission, and post-delivery support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Freshers or up to 1 year of experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Good communication, coordination, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Review customer orders, specifications, and documentation requirements.
• Support project tracking, scheduling, and internal coordination.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Production, Planning, Quality, and Procurement for smooth order execution.
• Assist in understanding valve specifications, datasheets, drawings, and project requirements.
• Support preparation and submission of project documents (drawings, MTCs, ITPs, QAPs, test reports).
• Maintain document control and timely submissions to customers.
• Assist in shipment documentation and delivery coordination.
• Support post-delivery documentation requests and customer queries.

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

Order Management & Coordination

• Assist in reviewing customer orders, specifications, and documentation requirements.
• Support project tracking, scheduling, and follow-up with internal departments.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Production, Planning, Quality, and Procurement teams for smooth order execution.

Technical & Documentation Support

• Assist in understanding valve specifications, datasheets, drawings, and project requirements.
• Support preparation and submission of project documents such as drawings, MTCs, ITPs, QAPs, and test reports.
• Maintain document control and ensure timely submissions to customers.

Customer & Internal Communication

• Support communication with customers regarding order status and documentation.
• Assist in resolving technical and documentation-related queries.
• Participate in project review meetings and maintain action trackers.

Quality & Inspection Support

• Coordinate with QA/QC teams for inspections, FATs, and documentation readiness.
• Maintain records for material traceability, test reports, and certifications.

Logistics & After-Sales Support

• Assist in shipment documentation and delivery coordination.
• Support post-delivery documentation requests and customer queries.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Freshers or up to 1 year of experience.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Good communication, coordination, and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills

• Basic knowledge of valves, manufacturing processes, or the oil & gas industry.
• Familiarity with API, ASME, ISO standards is an advantage.
• Exposure to ERP systems or document management systems is preferred.
• Strong willingness to learn and work in a cross-functional environment.
