Responsibilities

• Place owned fleet in the market via rough brokers and direct companies.
• Place vehicles from vendors and brokers for loads at competitive rates.
• Manage drivers, brokers and truck owners.
• Handle accidents and tolls.
• Collect PODs and coordinate with Head Office.
• Independently manage branch operations.
• Perform data entry for daily records.
• Minimise idle truck movements and ensure cost efficiency through negotiation.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Traffic Manager..

The Traffic Manager will be responsible for managing logistics operations, placing vehicles from the market, maintaining high indent vs placement ratio, placing owned fleet in the market, coordinating transportation activities, optimising delivery routes, tracking shipments, collecting PODs, vehicle maintenance and ensuring timely and efficient movement of goods.

• Minimise the movement of idle trucks.
• Ensure cost efficiency by negotiation and price comparison
