Job summary

DuoBridge in Bangalore is seeking a Trade Operation Specialist to manage end-to-end trade processing across FX and commodities, ensuring accurate capture, validation, and timely settlement.

You will monitor lifecycle events, coordinate with Front Office and clearing brokers, and perform daily reconciliations between internal systems and external records. The role involves ensuring accurate economics, quantities, prices, currencies, and settlement terms while meeting cut-off times.

Responsibilities

• Trade Capture and Validation of trades executed by Front Office teams.
• Review trades to ensure accurate capture in trading and risk systems.
• Validate key trade economics: date, notional value, currency, instrument, and broker fees.
• Identify incorrect or missing trade information and coordinate corrections.
• Ensure trades are processed within cut-off times.
• Monitor trades from execution through settlement across the lifecycle.
• Process amendments, cancellations, novation, allocations, and lifecycle events.
• Maintain records of trade status and exceptions.
• Reconcile positions, cash and settlement information daily.
• Coordinate with Front Office, clearing brokers, exchanges and Operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Trade Capture and Validation
• Review trades executed by Front Office teams and ensure accurate capture in trading and risk- management systems.
• Validate key trade economics, including:
• Trade date and settlement date
• Buy/Sell indicator
• Quantity and price
• Currency
• Counterparty
• Instrument/product
• Notional value
• Brokerage/fees
• Settlement instructions
• Identify incorrect, incomplete, or missing trade information and coordinate with Front Office or relevant teams for correction.
• Ensure trades are processed within applicable cut - off times.

Trade Lifecycle Management

• Monitor trades from execution through settlement, including:
• Trade Execution → Capture → Enrichment → Confirmation/Affirmation → Matching → Settlement → Reconciliation → Lifecycle Events
• Monitor outstanding trades and ensure they progress through the appropriate lifecycle stages.
• Process amendments, cancellations, novation’s, allocations, and other trade lifecycle events.
• Maintain accurate records of trade status and exceptions.

• Support lifecycle events such as amendments, rolls, exercises, and expiries.
• Reconcile positions, cash, and settlement information.
• Coordinate with Front Office, clearing brokers, exchanges, and Operations.
