• NISM certification is a plus.
• Proficiency with Excel and data analysis is essential.

• Maintain daily trade books and reconcile transactions with broker records.
• Review contract notes, ledger statements, and brokerage charges for accuracy.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve trade discrepancies with brokers and internal teams.
• Download, validate, and maintain broker reports, including margin statements and P&L.
• Execute, modify, and cancel trading orders through broker terminals per instructions.
• Monitor order execution, open positions, and margin availability; escalate exceptions.
• Prepare end-of-day operational updates and maintain trading documentation.
• Ensure adherence to internal procedures, timelines, and data confidentiality.

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Trade Operations Executive to support the firm's day-to-day trading activities. The role involves maintaining accurate trading records, reconciling transactions with broker statements, monitoring trade execution, and ensuring the timely completion of operational processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain daily trade books and reconcile transactions, positions, holdings, and account balances with broker records.


• Review contract notes, ledger statements, brokerage charges, and other transaction-related reports for accuracy.


• Identify, investigate, and resolve trade discrepancies in coordination with brokers and internal teams.


• Download, validate, and maintain daily and periodic broker reports, including margin statements and P&L reports.


• Execute, modify, and cancel trading orders through broker terminals based on authorized instructions.


• Monitor order execution, open positions, and margin availability, escalating exceptions when required.


• Prepare end-of-day operational updates and maintain organized trading documentation.


• Ensure adherence to internal operational procedures, reporting timelines, and data confidentiality standards.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Sound understanding of Indian equity and derivatives markets, including futures, options, and margin requirements.


• Familiarity with trading operations, broker reconciliation processes, and order management systems.


• Proficiency in MS Excel, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, Pivot Tables, and data validation.


• Ability to work with CSV files, reconcile large datasets, and identify transactional inconsistencies.


• Strong numerical accuracy, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.


• Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications & Experience

• 1-3 years of relevant experience in trading operations, stockbroking, capital markets, or trade reconciliation.


• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline preferred.


• Prior experience with brokerage firms, proprietary trading firms, or financial institutions will be an advantage.


• NISM Series VII (Securities Operations and Risk Management) or Series VIII (Equity Derivatives) certification will be an added advantage.
