Job summary

IDFC FIRST Bank is seeking a Trade & FX Counsellor to serve as the single point of contact for trade related forex and cross border products across assigned branches. The role focuses on acquiring and growing trade relationships and delivering forex services through the branch network.

You will collaborate with operations and product teams, drive client interactions, deliver service quality, and train sales staff to enhance product penetration and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Graduation in Engineering/Technology/Commerce/Arts/Science or related fields.
• 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in trade/FX or banking domain.

Responsibilities

• Drive product & marketing initiatives launched by central product team.
• Service trade-related queries by liaising with operations/product/central team.
• Responsible for income and foreign currency throughput targets for the trade products.
• Manage portfolio quality—digital activation, product penetration, average monthly balance, desired value.
• Support team in achieving customer acquisition plan through joint and independent calls with sales.
• Impart training to sales and relationship team as subject matter expert.
• Cultivate relationships with individual and corporate customers.
• Managing customer-centric operations & ensuring customer satisfaction by achieving delivery & service quality.

The role bearer would be responsible for acquiring and driving the trade relationship and providing forex related services and support as an individual contributor or through the branch team contributing to the larger branch banking channel objectives.
