Job summary

IDFC FIRST Bank in India is seeking a Trade & Fx Counsellor to act as a single point of contact for trade products in the assigned region. The role focuses on acquiring and driving trade relationships and providing forex services, individually or with branch teams.

You will drive product initiatives, liaise with operations and central teams, meet FX throughput targets, and train sales and relationship staff, while cultivating corporate and individual client relationships to ensure service

Qualifications

• Graduation in Engineering/Technology/Maths/Commerce/Arts/Science/Business/Computers/Management.
• 10 to 18 years of relevant experience in trade/finance or banking.

Responsibilities

• Drive product & marketing initiatives launched by central product team
• Service trade related queries & requirement of clients by liaising with operations/product/central team
• Responsible for income and foreign currency throughput target set for the trade forex products for the respective branches/business
• Manage the portfolio quality - digital activation, product penetration, average monthly balance, desired value
• Support team in achieving customer acquisition plan through joint and independent call with sales team
• Impart training to sales and relationship team as subject matter expert
• Cultivate relationships with individual and corporate customers
• Managing customer centric operations & ensuring customer satisfaction by achieving delivery & service quality norms
• Evaluate the growth strategy based on competitor analysis and feedback from different channels/customers
• Recommend process changes in order to improve service efficiency and quality across the branch network
• Regularly update stakeholders about Trade and Fx transactions
