  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, logistics, supply chain, or international trade.
  • 7-8+ years in import/export operations, customs compliance, and logistics in manufacturing environments, preferably electronics or semiconductor industries.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian customs law, DGFT FTP, hazardous goods regulations, Incoterms, and international logistics practices, DGFT.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all import, export, and bonded operations in line with Indian customs and foreign trade regulations.
  • Ensure correct HS classification, customs valuation, country of origin determination, and application of duty benefits, exemptions, and FTAs.
  • Oversee compliance for electronics and IT goods with DGFT, BIS QCO requirements, and applicableMeitY, WPC, and DOT.
  • Act as the primary point of contact during customs audits, post-clearance audits, investigations, and regulatory reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations governing hazardous goods including IATA DGR, PESO, and CPCB/SPCB requirements.
  • Coordinate licenses, permits, and approvals with DGFT, Customs,Pollution ControlBoardsand allied departments.
  • Identifyand mitigate customs, trade, and logistics-related risks.

Qualification
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, or International Trade; postgraduate qualifications preferred
Desired Experience Level
  • 7-8+ years of experience in import/export operations, customs compliance, and logisticswithin manufacturing environments, preferably electronics or semiconductor industries.
