Job summary

Tata Electronics Private Limited is seeking an experienced import/export professional to lead operations across India, aligning with customs and trade regulations. You will ensure HS classification, valuation, origin determinations, and FTAs while handling audits and hazardous goods compliance.

The role requires 7–8+ years in import/export, strong DGFT and logistics know-how, and a track record in electronics industries.

Qualifications

  • Lead and manage all import, export, and bonded operations under Indian customs and FTAs.
  • Ensure HS classification, customs valuation, origin, and duty benefits.
  • Oversee compliance for electronics/IT goods with DGFT, BIS QCO, MeitY, WPC, DOT.
  • Act as primary contact during customs audits and regulatory reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with hazardous goods rules (IATA DGR, PESO, CPCB/SPCB).
  • Coordinate licenses/permits with DGFT, Customs, Pollution Control Boards.
  • Identify and mitigate customs, trade, and logistics risks.

  • Coordinate licenses, permits, and approvals with DGFT, Customs, Pollution Control Boards and allied departments.
  • Identify and mitigate customs, trade, and logistics-related risks.

Desired Experience Level
  • 7-8+ years of experience in import/export operations, customs compliance, and logistics within manufacturing environments, preferably electronics or semiconductor industries.

Strong knowledge of Indian customs law, DGFT FTP, hazardous goods regulations, Incoterms, and international logistics practices, DGFT.
