Job summary

Shreeyam Power And Steel Industries is seeking a TPM Coordinator at the manufacturing plant. The role requires a BE/B.Tech in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering or equivalent, with 3–7 years of TPM experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate TPM implementation across all production and support departments.
• Facilitate AM, PM, Kaizen and other TPM pillars.
• Monitor OEE and identify improvement opportunities.
• Analyze equipment breakdowns, downtime and losses; coordinate corrective actions.
• Track TPM KPIs and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
• Coordinate TPM audits, assessments, and compliance activities.
• Organise TPM training and awareness programmes for employees.
• Drive 5S, visual management, and workplace organisation initiatives.
• Support RCA using why-why analysis and fishbone diagrams.
• Coordinate cross-functional improvement projects to enhance productivity, quality, cost, delivery, safety and morale.
• Ensure timely closure of action plans arising from TPM reviews and audits.
• Maintain TPM documentation, standards, and records.

Job Purpose

To coordinate and drive the implementation of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives across the plant, improve equipment reliability and operational efficiency, and foster a culture of continuous improvement through cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate TPM implementation across all production and support departments.


• Facilitate Autonomous Maintenance (AM), Planned Maintenance (PM), Focused Improvement (Kaizen), and other TPM pillars.


• Monitor Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and identify improvement opportunities.


• Analyse equipment breakdowns, downtime, and losses; coordinate corrective and preventive actions.


• Track TPM KPIs and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.


• Coordinate TPM audits, assessments, and compliance activities.


• Organise TPM training and awareness programmes for employees.


• Drive 5S, visual management, and workplace organisation initiatives.


• Support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) using tools such as why-why analysis and fishbone diagrams.


• Coordinate cross-functional improvement projects to enhance productivity, quality, cost, delivery, safety, and morale.

• Maintain TPM documentation, standards, and records.

Required Skills

• Good understanding of TPM principles and manufacturing processes.


• Knowledge of OEE, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Continuous Improvement.


• Basic knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP/MIS systems.


• Good communication, coordination, and presentation skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• B.E./B.Tech with 37 years of experience in TPM, manufacturing excellence, industrial engineering, or continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.


• Experience in steel, metals, cement, power, or heavy engineering industries will be preferred.


• Exposure to industrial engineering techniques such as time study, motion study, line balancing, and productivity improvement will be an added advantage.


• Self-driven with the ability to coordinate effectively across multiple departments.
