Job summary

Weekday is seeking an experienced TPF Developer to design, build, and maintain applications in TPF and z/TPF environments. You will translate business needs into robust technical solutions and support production releases.

You will work across development tools, debugging, testing, and documentation, contributing to continuous improvement and on-call support as needed.

Qualifications

• 3–15 years of overall technical experience.
• Minimum 4 years of software development experience.

We are looking for an experienced TPF Developer with strong expertise in TPF, z/TPF, Assembler, TPFC, and TPFDF development. The ideal candidate should have hands‑on experience in mainframe and TPF environments, with a solid understanding of software development, debugging, testing, and production support.

The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and optimising applications within TPF and z/TPF environments. This role requires strong technical problem-solving abilities, experience with development and CI tools, and the ability to translate business requirements into reliable technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, code, debug, and test applications using TPF, z/TPF, Assembler, TPFC, and TPFDF.
• Develop and maintain software solutions within mainframe and TPF environments.
• Work with SPMs and relevant development tools to support application development and maintenance.
