Job summary

Coforge Limited in Bengaluru, India is seeking experienced TPF/zTPF Developers to join the mainframe team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in TPF/zTPF development, Assembler programming, system enhancements, production support, and performance optimization.

Experience in the Airline domain will be an added advantage. Responsibilities include design, development, debugging, deployment, documentation, on-call rotations, and collaboration with BAs, QA, and product managers.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in TPF and zTPF Development.
• Strong knowledge of zTPF, TPF, TPFC, TPFDF and SPMs.
• Experience in Mainframe environments and CI/CD.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Experience in SDLC and working with distributed teams.

Job Summary

We are seeking experienced TPF/zTPF Developers with strong expertise in mainframe transaction processing environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in TPF/zTPF development, Assembler programming, system enhancements, production support, and performance optimization. Experience in the Airline domain will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain applications in TPF/zTPF environments.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Develop, code, debug, test, and deploy high-performance applications.
• Work extensively with zTPF, Assembler, TPFC, TPFDF, and SPMs.
• Support application lifecycle activities including development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, test, and production environments.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation for applications and system enhancements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Business Analysts, Architects, QA, and Product Managers.
• Support production implementations, release activities, warranty support, and on-call rotations.
• Work closely with Technical Product Managers during release planning and requirement analysis.
• Identify opportunities to improve application stability, performance, and operational efficiency.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.
