Job summary

Coforge Limited in India is seeking a seasoned mainframe developer with 3-15 years of experience in TPF and z/TPF to work across Chennai, Pune, Greater Noida, Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Mumbai.

You will design, code, debug and test applications, troubleshoot production issues, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. The role demands strong mainframe knowledge, CI tooling, and a proactive approach to uptime and performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of hands-on software development experience.
• Proven experience of at least 4 years in TPF and z/TPF development.
• Expertise in z/TPF, Assembler, TPFC, TPFDF, and SPMs.
• Strong knowledge of mainframe and TPF environments.
• Experience in designing, coding, debugging and testing applications.
• Experience troubleshooting issues in test and production environments.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience in software technical documentation.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Experience supporting production implementations, including on-call and warranty support.
• Experience improving application stability and performance.
