Job summary

Wipro is seeking a Tools Engineer specialized in Stonebranch to support and enhance our SB automation environment in Mumbai, India. The role covers managing Stonebranch 7.7 builds, SB agents on Linux and Windows, UAC configurations, and licensing management, with exposure to API calls and various SB triggers.

You will work across Linux/Windows platforms, crafting reports, dashboards, and SB-driven workflows to meet customer requirements while ensuring robust failover and maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• Experience with Stonebranch workflow automation and job scheduling.
• Strong knowledge of UAC, SB agents, and SB environment.
• Experience with Linux/Windows scripting for SB tasks.
• Familiarity with database connections in SB/UAC.
• Experience in cluster configuration and environment variables.

Responsibilities

• Manage Stonebranch 7.7 Build and SB Agent installation on Linux and Windows.
• Operate SB UAC to run Linux, Windows, Python, PowerShell, Informatica, and SB jobs.
• Create widgets and reports based on customer requirements.
• Configure Stonebranch OMS servers and manage licensing.
• Handle failover/failback activities and patching-related restarts.
• Manage API calls and set up triggers (time, cron, file monitor, agent and task monitors).
• Set up DB connections in UAC and configure cluster resources.
• Write startup scripts and understand omsmsg.lock usage.

Role Description of Tools Engineer - StoneBranch

• 1. Exposure in handling Stonebranch 7.7 Build
• 2. Stonebranch UAC to run various Jobs: Linux, windows, python, PowerShell, Informatica ,Informatica IICS, MFT jobs SQL/oracle scripts
• 3. Install SB Agents in Linux and windows servers
• 4. Widgets and Report creation based on Customer requirements
• 5. Knowledge and configuration of Stonebranch OMS Servers
• 6. Stop/start broker services post rhel/windows patching activities
• 7. Upgrade and handle licensing in the SB environment.
• 8. Knowledge in Failover and failback activities
• 9. Other applications restart too managed by Stonebranch
• 10. API call management
• 11. Knowledge in setting up DB connections in UAC
• 12. Knowledge in handling cluster configuration
• 13. Knowledge in environment variables and it's concepts
• 14. Handling virtual and mutual resourcing and it's concepts
• 15. Setting up various triggers: time trigger, cron trigger, file monitor trigger, agent Monitor and task monitor trigger etc
• 16. Knowledge in calendar creation
• 17. Knowledge about various job status: defined, running, running/problems, success, failures , wait resource, time wait, etc and it's colour codes
• 18. know the difference between release and release recursive
• 19. Knowledge of creating Linux file systems, fstab entries, host entries
• 20. Mount and mount concepts in Linux 21. Ability to write application start up scripts
• 22. Knowledge of omsmsg.lock file and its usage
