Job summary

Wipro in India is seeking a Tool Development and Deployment Specialist to support project delivery by designing, developing, and deploying tools.

You will collaborate with internal teams and clients to understand requirements, design solutions, estimate budgets and timelines, assess licenses, and coordinate with vendors for tool development, testing, and on-time deployment.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of relevant experience in tool development and deployment.
• Experience with tools design, development, and deployment for project delivery.
• Ability to interact with clients and internal teams to capture requirements.

• Provide tool design, development and deployment support for project delivery.
• Interact with internal project teams or clients to understand tool requirements.
• Design solutions considering tool requirements, available tools, and licensing needs.
• Provide budget and timeline estimates for tool development and deployment.
• Identify development sources (internal or third-party) and coordinate with PMs for rollout timelines.
• Engage in commercial discussions with third-party vendors for licenses or tool development.
• Perform testing to ensure error-free deployment of tools on projects.
• Ensure timely deployment of tools within estimated budgets.

The purpose of this role is to support delivery through development and deployment of tools.

Do

1. Provide tool design, development and deployment support for the project delivery

• Interact with the internal project or client to understand the project requirement from a tool perspective
• Design the solution keeping in mind the tool requirements, current tools available as well as details on licenses required etc.
• Provide budget and timeline estimates for the tool development/ deployment as required
• For any new tool development, identify sources for development (internal or 3rd party) and work with the project managers on the development of the tool keeping in mind the production rollout timelines
• Conduct commercial discussions with the 3rd party vendors for licenses or tool development
• Conduct appropriate testing to ensure error free deployment of the tool on the project
• Ensure deployment of tool on time and within the estimated budget
