Job summary

Wipro Limited in Chennai seeks a seasoned Enterprise Monitoring Specialist to manage and enhance monitoring for client infrastructure. You will work with LogicMonitor, Dynatrace, Grafana, and other APM tools, configuring alerts and supporting both cloud and on-prem environments.

The role requires 8+ years of experience, willingness to travel 5-10%, and the ability to lead a team of 3 or more. Hybrid work model with on-site 5 days as needed.

Qualifications

• Expertise in enterprise monitoring across multiple tools (LogicMonitor, SolarWinds, Dynatrace, Datadog, Grafana, Elasticsearch).
• Experience configuring alerts for infrastructure devices using monitoring tools.
• Hands-on experience with LogicMonitor modules, cloud and on-prem collectors.

Job Description

Location :- chennai

Rate :- 170K/M

EXP :- 8+ years

Primary skill - Infra Monitoring tools (Logic Monitor), APM Tools (Dynatrace, Gatadog, Grafana, Elastic Search, etc).

Secondary Skill - Basic Knowledge in Servers, Network Device, Storage, Backup, and scripting.

To handle Enterprise Monitoring Activity for the client infrastructure .

• Have hands on experience in Enterprise monitoring tools such as Logic Monitor (Infra), SolarWinds (Network), APM Tools (Dynatrace, Gatadog, Ggrafana and Elastic Search.
• Have hands on experience in configuring alerts for infrastructure devices (Using Infra monitoring tools)
• Have hands on experience in Logic Monitor modules
• Have hands on experience in Logic Monitor cloud and OnPrem collectors
• Have experience on developing scripting on various language.
• Have basic knowledge on various OS and domain knowledge such as windows server 20XX/RHEL/Solaris/Oracle /MSSQL/Backup and storage/Network and Security.
• Should have knowledge on the protocol HTTP, HTTPS, SSH, WMI, SNMP, SNMP Trap, Telnet etc.
• Should have knowledge on shell scripting, VuGen scripting and python scripting is an added advantage.
• Should be willing to work in Wipro Chennai - CDC5.
• Should be willing to travel to client location in Chennai as needed. Mostly travel will be 5-10%.
• Should have experience in handling the team of size 3 & above.
• Outstation candidates should be willing to relocate to Chennai location.
• Candidate can work in Hybrid model until the Wipro/customer insist for 5 days work from office.
• Should be flexible to work in on-call model during off shift hours as needed.

• Provide tool design, development and deployment support for the project delivery
• a. Interact with the internal project or client to understand the project requirement from a tool perspective
• b. Design the solution keeping in mind the tool requirements, current tools available as well as details on licenses required etc.
• c. Provide budget and timeline estimates for the tool development/ deployment as required
• d. For any new tool development, identify sources for development (internal or 3rd party) and work with the project managers on the development of the tool keeping in mind the production rollout timelines
• e. Conduct commercial discussions with the 3rd party vendors for licenses or tool development
• f. Conduct appropriate testing to ensure error free deployment of the tool on the project
• g. Ensure deployment of tool on time and within the estimated budget
