Job summary

Yash Placement Services Pune is seeking an experienced professional to drive tool development and maintenance for sheet metal press parts used in BIW applications.

You will lead stamping and die design activities, ensure GD&T compliance, and coordinate with vendors to control costs while maintaining quality. Hands-on shop floor management will be part of daily tasks, including Machining and BIW panel handling.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in sheet metal stamping processes and die design concepts.
• Proficient in GD&T and geometric dimensioning.
• Experience in vendor negotiation, cost control, and quality troubleshooting.
• Solid documentation and compliance skills for manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• New tool development end-to-end for sheet metal press parts.
• Oversee tool maintenance and on-site troubleshooting.
• Hands-on work with BIW panels and related machining.
• Manage shop floor activities and overall workflow.
