Job summary

Hero MotoCorp is seeking a Team Manager in Plant Operations (Utilities) to ensure uninterrupted utility supplies for manufacturing. You will lead maintenance activities, optimize spare parts, and implement CBM and energy-water balance strategies to minimize cost and downtime.

The role reports to the Section Head-Utility and requires hands-on experience with compressors, DGs, water treatment, and electrical sub stations.

Qualifications

• B.Tech in Electrical with 2-6 years of relevant experience.
• Diploma in Electrical with 8-12 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of air network, compressors, receivers, dryers operation, SCADA, WTP/ETP/STP, incinerator, DG maintenance, sub stations, PLC, VFD, energy conservation techniques.

Responsibilities

• Execute day-to-day Operations in Utilities.
• Diagnose problems related to Compressors, Diesel Generators, Water treatment Plants, Electrical Sub stations, Hot water generators, Heat Pumps, Solar Plants, Chillers, AHUs, MHEs.
• Reduce costs by optimizing spare parts planning and localization of imported spares.
• Perform Energy & Water Balance as per company requirements.
• Implement CBM techniques in Utilities and provide solutions for equipment malfunctions.

Role

As a Team Manager– you will be a part of Maintenance department and will report to Section Head-Utility.Your role will be:
Ensuring uninterrupted Utility Supplies to plant manufacturing facilities during shifts, those supplies shall be most cost effective & efficient.

A purpose driven role for you

• Execution of day -to day Operations in Utilities
• Diagnosis problem related to Compressors, Diesel Generators, Water treatment Plants, Electrical Sub stations, Hot water generators, Heat Pumps, Solar Plants, Chillers, AHU’s, MHE’s .
• Reducing cost by optimizing spare part planning & eliminating repeated failures, along with localization & development of imported spares.
• Execution of Energy & Water Balance in line with company requirements.
• Implementing CBM techniques in Utilities, provide solutions for equipment malfunctioning, system fault, leading to equipment failure

A Day in the life

To Achieve Zero Failures at optimum cost in Maintenance (Utilities) by using appropriate maintenance tactics by using TPM methodology.

Academic Qualification & Experience
