Job summary

Hero MotoCorp seeks a TM/Line Incharge – Maintenance to lead maintenance activities in the Engine Plant, focusing on zero-failure targets for NEP/Al/Gear/HT/Steel phases. The role requires 5–10 years in CNC/PLC and strong automation knowledge, with a drive for safety and efficiency.

You will manage breakdowns, optimize costs, and lead preventive maintenance programs while coordinating with teams and Quality Circles to deliver reliable production.

Qualifications

• BE in Electrical or Electronics with 5–10 years CNC/PLC experience.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and PLC knowledge.
• Experience with Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Pari, and Widia.

Responsibilities

• Manage production breakdowns and ensure smooth machine runs.
• Optimize R&M costs of Engine plant machines.
• Maintain spare parts inventory per targets.
• Execute MS Project for preventive maintenance.
• Implement 7 steps of plant maintenance to prevent breakdowns.
• Engage sub-ordinates in Quality Circle projects.
• Ensure safety parameters to achieve zero injuries.

TM/LINE INCHARGE-MAINTENANCE-ENGINE Function Plant Operations Pay Band E4 to M2 Role

As a TM/Line In charge, you will be a part of Maintenance Engine Plant department and your role will be to implement maintenance activities to achieve zero failure in NEP/Al phase/Gear/HT/Steel phase. A purpose driven role for you.

Key Responsibilities

• To manage customer satisfaction (Production) by providing break down free machine shop for smooth running of machines
• To optimize repair & maintenance (R & M) cost of machine shop Engine plant as per the given targets.
• To maintain spare parts inventory of Engine plant as per the given targets.
• Timely execution of MS Project for prevention approach before occurrence of failure on machine.
• To implement 7 steps of plant maintenance to achieve zero break down
• To involve sub-ordinates in projects assigned in Quality Circle
• To execute all safety related parameters to achieve zero injury target

Academic Qualification & Experience

B.E ( Electrical /Electronics) 5- 10 years’ experience of CNC, PLC controls.

Technical Skills/Knowledge

• Electrical Troubleshooting and PLC Knowledge
• Knowledge of Fanuc India, Siemens, Mitshubishi, Pari, Widia
• Overhauling of machines as per schedule
• Blueprints, Schematics, and Technical Manuals Literacy
• Industrial Hydraulics and Pneumatics
• Knowledge of robotics & Automation
