Job summary

Hero MotoCorp Ltd. is seeking a Team Manager for the Aluminium Phase- Quality Team in India. The role focuses on defect-free products, analyzing failures, and driving improvement projects within the Aluminium Phase to ensure CTQ compliance and high quality processes.

You will oversee plan, coordinate and execute activities to produce first-time-right quality, with emphasis on quality systems, drawings, GD&T and SAP-enabled workflows.

Qualifications

• Diploma / BTech in Mechanical Engineering.
• Min 3–5 years experience in Manufacturing plant in 2 Wheeler industry.

Responsibilities

• Analyze internal failures (rework, rejection, MI/FI defects) and external failures (market issues, warranty).
• Identify/execute improvement projects.
• Identify and audit Critical to Quality Stages.
• Evaluate Process and Machine Capability.
• Implementation of QM Matrix of CTQ Machine.
• Effective Functioning of CTQ Machines.

As the Team Manager you will be part of the Aluminium Phase- Quality Team and will report to the Section Head - Engine Plant Quality
The purpose of your role will be to ensure defect Free Product/ Processes in Aluminium Phase section.

Academic Qualification & Experience

• Diploma / BTech in Mechanical Engineering
• Min 03-05 year experience in Manufacturing plant in 2 Wheeler industry

Technical Skills/Knowledge

• 1.MS Office, SAP .
• 3. Understanding of Quality Systems , Usage of QC Tools , PFMEA , SPC , Why Why Analysis etc.
• 4. Through Knowledge of Drawings , GD&T , Machining operations.
