• Conduct PFMEA of exclusive parts before Mass Production; verify technical standards and upgrade SOPs for zero-defect assembly.
• Identify and report problems to concerned agencies.
• Train team members on new model requirements.
• Analyze market problems and implement countermeasures.
• Audit Built up Quality Index to strengthen product quality.
• Collaborate to eliminate defects; lead improvement projects (Kaizen, 7-Step, Figure of Eight).

Role

As Team Manager - QA Frame Assembly, you will be part of Manufacturing Quality in Plant Operations function. You are responsible to ensure the delivery of excellent quality products to customers by managing in-process quality control at the Frame Assembly stage by eliminating defects through structured problem-solving and the implementation of robust assembly standards to ensure zero-defect outflow to subsequent stages.

A purpose driven role for you

Your responsibilities include but not limited to:

• New Model Stabilization & System Development
• Enhance quality (internal & External) in all aspects by driving a Zero Defect Approach at Plant levels
• Sustaining and improving Product and Process quality with structured restorations and holistic improvements
• To develop people to be subject matter experts through total employee involvement approach
• Create eco-system to develop innovative solutions for problems by effective use of digitalization, Kaizen, 7 Step or Figure ofEight problem solving methodologies

A Day in the life

You will be working on day-to-day basis on the following-

• Conduct PFMEA of exclusive parts before Mass Production (MP); Verify technical standards (Drawing, Torque, Routing); Ensure SOP upgradation for zero-defect assembly
• Problem identification & reporting to concerned agencies
• Training to concerned team members w.r.t new Model Requirements
• Market Problem Analysis and countermeasures
• Internal BUQI (Built up Quality Index) Audit to strengthen overall built quality of product
• Collaborative approach towards defect elimination
• Root cause analysis of Defects
• Lead improvement projects (Kaizen, 7-Step, Figure of Eight) to improve process reliability; Implement poka-yoke
