Garrett - Advancing Motion in Bengaluru, India, is seeking a thermal simulation engineer to design and optimize cooling for EV motors, inverters and gearboxes. You will run CFD/FEA analyses, interpret results, and propose cost-effective changes within manufacturability constraints.
You will collaborate with global teams, help develop simulation methodologies, automate workflows, and explore AI-driven approaches to improve productivity.
Perform thermal simulations to enable design of motors, inverters, and gearbox for high-speed machines in Garrett's electric products. Analyse designs with CFD and FEA software, suggest changes to improve thermal management of the product with constraints on cost and manufacturability. Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to plan and provide effective simulation support. Contribute to simulation methodology development, validation, automation and AI transformation. Develop predictive AI models and support agentic AI productivity drives. Calibrate simulation with test measurements.
