Siemens Mobility in Kolkata is seeking a Testing and Commissioning Manager to lead CBTC signaling installation and commissioning for metro projects. The role centers on coordinating field teams, managing timelines, and ensuring safety and quality across sites in India and potentially abroad.

You will oversee recruitment, plan commissioning for VIPs/ISA/RDSO, supervise installers, and align tasks with company policies while delivering reliable client services and project success.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required and CBTC signaling experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills and leadership abilities are required.
• Experience with metro projects and field commissioning is a plus.

Responsibilities

We are looking for Testing and Commissioning Manager

You’ll make a difference by

• Monitoring the movements of his associates and ensuring that the company's overall commissioning targets are met by them.
• Holding accountability for meeting the target aims and objectives of the company, specific to the locations, about commissioning processes.
• Directing, handling, and overseeing the field service administrators who help in meeting the commissioning targets.
• Heading and leading the recruitment and instructional requirements for the initiation personnel.
• Planning and strategizing the execution of commissioning undertakings for VIPs, ISA and RDSO on a regular basis and as and when needed.
• Reassessing the operative tasks of the associates and getting back to settle issues and matters of the particularly concerned section of the company.
• Aiding the general administrator with T&C duties and tasks for the office, sometimes directly and sometimes indirectly.
• Providing easy back up and aid to new trade plans, programs and possibilities within the company.
• Directing the associates of the T&C section on a daily basis.
• Agree with the administration interactions and presentations as needed by the company.
• Ensuring that all his supervisory and administrative task undertakings agree with the laws, rules and existing policies of the company.
• Monitoring the client matter sand settling the same in order to ensure perfectly contented client services.
• Making sure that T&C tasks are undertaken in the company also with agreement to the customer particularities.
• Making sure that all the tasks and projects are executed in agreement to the needs of the same.
• Supervising and leading a unit of installers within the company if needed.
• Directing the activities of the installers and assisting them with mending and initiating the major elements and structures.
• Planning and administration of the initiation of commodities
• Covering all the possible data of the company and informing the top administrative section of the same about it.
• Making sure that the company earns profits and gains by executing installation projects
• Ensuring the internal as well as external development of various installation plans and programs of the company and benefitting it in the process.
• Traveling places and completing the installation project undertakings and workings of the company or the clients.
• Carrying out all other assigned jobs and duties of the company that an installation manager is supposed to do effectively and efficiently.
• Providing the associates of the company with daily inputs and creative suggestions regarding the installation methods and procedures.

Desired Skills

• Candidate should be engineering graduate
• Minimum 10 to 15 years to experiences on the CBTC Signaling Metro project.
• Good Communication Skills
