Job summary

UST is seeking a Tester II – Software Testing in Hyderabad to design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases. You will work with Playwright (TypeScript), Selenium, Appium, and REST API frameworks to support release plans and Agile testing activities.

The role requires familiarity with cloud test platforms, ERP/ SAP/ AccelQ, and telecom domain workflows, with a focus on QA standards and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, developing, and executing manual and automated tests.
• Automation experience with Playwright, Selenium, and Appium.
• Familiarity with REST API testing frameworks.

Role Description

Tester II – Software Testing. Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases. Develop automation scripts using Selenium (Java), Playwright (TypeScript), Appium, and REST API frameworks. Contribute to all testing phase activities as per the release plan. Participate actively in sprint Agile testing activities. Learn and apply AI‑based testing tools for smarter execution and defect analysis. Execute functional, regression, and end‑to‑end tests. Leverage shared frameworks and cloud platforms for test execution. Acquire a strong understanding of telecom domain workflows. Follow QE standards, processes, and continuous improvement practices.

Domain Specific Skills & Experience

• Basic checks for fraud, credit, and tax validation
• Experience with cloud test execution platforms (Lambda, Test Grid, SauceLabs, etc.)
• Automation experience with ERP systems using Tosca/AccelQ (1‑2 years)
• Telecom domain knowledge (1‑2 years)
• SAP/ERP system knowledge (1‑2 years)
• No‑code/low‑code test automation platform: AccelQ (1‑2 years)
