Job summary

UST in India is seeking an Automation Tester with strong hands-on experience in web UI automation using Selenium and/or Playwright. The role emphasizes solid Core Java skills, including OOP, collections and multithreading, and experience in API automation testing with Rest Assured or similar tools.

The candidate will also work on mobile automation with Appium for Android and iOS applications and perform database testing with SQL to validate backend data.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with web UI automation using Selenium and/or Playwright.
• Solid understanding of Core Java concepts (OOP, collections, exception handling, multithreading, Java 8).
• Experience in API automation testing using tools/frameworks such as Rest Assured, Postman, or similar.
• Experience in mobile automation testing using Appium for Android and/or iOS.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of database testing, including SQL queries to validate backend data.
