Job summary

UST is seeking an experienced QE Leader to drive testing across a digital telecom domain. The role focuses on leading QE activities, designing automated and manual tests, and enabling CI/CD quality gates.

You will collaborate with Dev, Product, and Business teams to ensure seamless customer journeys from authentication to billing. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, Appium, REST APIs, and cloud test environments.

Qualifications

• 5–6 years leading QE in a Digital Life/telecom domain.
• 4–5 years in telecom digital mobile/web, chat/voice bots, middleware.
• Hands-on automation with Selenium/Playwright and REST API tests.
• End-to-end business flow: authentication, cart, checkout, payment, order, billing.
• Proficiency in Java, C#, Python, or TypeScript for test scripts.
• SQL and middleware API testing experience; data validation for transactions.
• Experience with AI-assisted quality insights is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead QE activities for the designated domain
• Plan and drive in‑sprint testing, automation execution, and release sign-off
• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases
• Design and develop automation scripts using Selenium (Java)/Playwright (Typescript), Appium and REST API frameworks
• Use AI assisted testing solutions to accelerate the testing tasks (test generation, smart test selection, failure insights, self healing concepts)
• Follow QE standards, processes, and continuous improvement practices
• Manage test execution on cloud platforms like Lambda, Test grid, SauceLabs etc. for faster feedback and scalability
• Validate end‑to‑end system integrations, data flows, and downstream impacts across enterprise systems
• Enable CI/CD pipeline integration and continuous quality gates
• Track quality metrics, risks, and readiness for production rollout
• Collaborate with Dev, Product, and Business teams to align testing with Corporate and financial workflows

• Automation skills: Selenium/Playwright, REST API; hands‑on: 4‑6 years
• E2E business flow understanding: Customer Journey – Authentication, Product/Offer selection, Cart/Checkout, Payment, Order, Fulfillment, Billing (4‑5 years)
• Programming languages: Java, C#, Python, Typescript; hands‑on: 3‑5 years
• API & integration testing across middleware services, SQL knowledge; hands‑on: 3‑5 years
• Data validation for transactions, order, and user/session data: 2‑4 years
