Job summary

Tata Electronics Private Limited (TEPL) is seeking an experienced ATE/Test Engineer to join the production test team in Karnataka. The role focuses on designing and deploying ATE fixtures and test programs for ICT using Keysight i3070 and Teradyne ICT, with emphasis on improving FPY and yield in a high-mix semiconductor environment.

The ideal candidate has 7–10 years of hands-on experience in ICT/ATE testing, strong circuit knowledge, and familiarity with automotive protocols.

Qualifications

• BE/MTech in Electronics, Electrical, or Instrumentation or related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in ICT/ATE testing environments.
• Strong understanding of circuit schematics and automotive communication protocols.

Responsibilities

• Strong understanding of circuit schematic and automotive protocols.
• Design and develop test fixtures for ICT i3070 used in production.
• Build new ATE's using Keysight and National instruments (PXI, LXI, GPIB).
• Develop test programs for Keysight i3070/Teradyne ICT.
• Design testing concepts and select hardware/technologies for complete ATE.
• Monitor FPY and NTF, drive yield improvements.
• Create SOPs, checklists for process verification.
• Apply Six Sigma tools and perform FMEA validation of testers (Cp/Cpk, GRR).
• Debug circuit problems and simulate signals to measure and analyze.
