We are seeking an experienced Test Manager with strong expertise in Digital Banking and Banking Transformation Programs. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience managing SIT, UAT, Regression, and End-to-End testing engagements while leading distributed testing teams across multiple locations.

This role requires ownership of test planning, execution management, quality governance, stakeholder coordination, defect management, release readiness, and successful delivery of banking programs across Retail Banking, Payments, Lending, and Wealth Management domains.

Ideal Candidate Profile

A 12+ Years seasoned Test Manager with 1-2 years of experience leading testing engagements within the Banking and Financial Services sector. The candidate should possess strong expertise in Digital Banking applications, test execution management, stakeholder engagement, defect governance, and end-to-end quality assurance across complex banking platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Test Management & Delivery

Lead end-to-end testing activities across SIT, UAT, Regression, and End-to-End testing phases.
Prepare comprehensive test plans, test strategies, effort estimations, and execution schedules.
Review business requirements, user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
Ensure thorough test coverage across all business and technical requirements.
Manage testing deliverables across multiple releases and projects.

Test Execution & Quality Assurance

Oversee test case design, test execution, defect tracking, and closure activities.
Manage SIT and UAT execution cycles and ensure timely delivery of testing milestones.
Coordinate testing activities across business, technology, and vendor teams.
Ensure complete traceability from requirements through testing and defect closure.
Drive release readiness assessments and quality sign-off processes.
Lead defect triage meetings and defect review forums.
Manage the complete defect lifecycle, including prioritization, tracking, resolution, and closure.
Facilitate Root Cause Analysis (RCA) discussions and corrective action planning.
Identify, assess, and proactively mitigate testing and delivery risks.
Ensure appropriate escalation of critical defects and project issues.

Governance & Reporting

Track testing progress, quality metrics, defect trends, and project risks.
Prepare governance dashboards, status reports, and testing summaries for stakeholders.
Support project governance meetings and leadership reviews.
Monitor key quality indicators and ensure adherence to delivery timelines.
Provide regular updates to project management, business, and technology teams.

Stakeholder Management

Collaborate closely with Business Users, Product Owners, Development Teams, UAT Teams, and Program Managers.
Act as the primary quality assurance point of contact for project stakeholders.
Ensure effective communication across distributed teams and project groups.
Facilitate smooth coordination between business and technology functions.
Lead and manage testing teams of 20+ members across multiple locations.
Allocate work, monitor team performance, and ensure effective utilization of resources.
Mentor Test Analysts, Senior Test Engineers, and Test Leads.
Foster a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Required Skills

Experience

1-2 Years as an Assistant Test Manager or 1 Year as a Test Manager.
Strong experience working within Digital Banking programs.
Proven experience leading distributed testing teams of 8 to 20+ members.
Demonstrated success managing large-scale testing engagements across multiple releases.
