Happiest Minds Technologies in Hyderabad is seeking a senior QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for web, API, and end-to-end testing.

You will lead test strategy, planning, execution, defect management, and release validation for complex product features, and collaborate with developers and product managers to promote a quality-first culture.

Competenze

• 6-10 years of experience in software testing, quality engineering, and test automation.
• Strong understanding of testing principles across functional, integration, regression, exploratory, performance, and API testing.
• Hands-on experience with modern automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or equivalent frameworks.
• Strong programming skills in TypeScript, Java, Python, or C#, with solid design principles.
• Experience building and maintaining scalable automation frameworks from the ground up.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar platforms.

Required Qualifications

• 6-10 years of experience in software testing, quality engineering, and test automation.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles, including functional, integration, regression, exploratory, performance, and API testing.
• Hands-on experience with modern automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or equivalent frameworks.
• Strong programming skills in any of these languages TypeScript, Java, Python, or C#, with a solid understanding of software design principles.
• Experience building and maintaining scalable automation frameworks from the ground up.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar platforms.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative, embrace challenges, and consistently deliver high-quality outcomes in fast-paced environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Exposure to GenAI, AI-assisted testing, Agentic Testing, and intelligent automation solutions.
• Experience working in Agile and DevOps-driven engineering organizations.
• Proven track record of driving innovation, process improvements, and automation transformation initiatives.
