Weekday (YC W21) in Bengaluru is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test to design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks for JavaScript and TypeScript applications. You will lead API and load testing with Rest Assured and K6, and automate front-end validations with Playwright across browsers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in software testing or quality engineering.
• Proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript with modern test automation frameworks.
• Experience API testing with Rest Assured or equivalent.
• Familiar with performance testing using K6.

As a Software Development Engineer in Test, you will design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts to ensure high-quality software delivery, focusing on JavaScript and TypeScript stack. You will lead the creation of robust API and load test suites using Rest Assured and K6, while also automating front‑end interactions with Playwright to validate user experiences across multiple browsers.
