Job summary

Cozentus Technologies in Hyderabad is seeking a Test Automation Engineer with ERP experience to translate requirements into robust test cases and drive automation for D365 processes. You will select test techniques, execute tests, report defects, maintain scripts, and collaborate across teams while ensuring non-functional quality attributes and risk mitigation.

Proficiency in Exec Automats, Selenium, Postman, Leapwork, Playwright, and coding in C# and Python is expected, along with Jira/Azure

Qualifications

• Experience in test automation and ERP testing.
• Proficient in D365 processes and related workflows.
• Strong coding in C# and Python.
• Familiar with Jira/Azure DevOps for test management.

Responsibilities

• Translate functional requirements into test cases based on acceptance criteria.
• Select test techniques to achieve appropriate test coverage.
• Execute test cases, detect, isolate, report, reproduce and verify bug fixes.
• Maintain and update the existing test scripts.
• Escalate risks and mitigate them appropriately.
• Create and maintain D365 processes using test automation tools; schedule and execute them.
• Actively propose test approaches and new test tools.
• Participate in risk analysis and define test strategies for ERP projects.
• Support test manager in monitoring progress and bug status.
• Assess non-functional quality attributes (performance, reliability) from a test perspective.

Primary responsibilities

1. Translate functional requirement into test cases based on defined acceptance criteria
2. Select test technique to achieve appropriate test coverage
3. Execute test cases, detect, isolate, report, reproduce and verify bug fixes.
4. maintain and update the existing test scripts
5. Ensure all identified risks from testing are escalated and mitigates appropriately
6. create and maintain D365 processes using test automation tool and subsequently schedule and execute them according to test strategy

Secondary responsibilities

1. Actively look for and create test approaches and propose test tool
2. Give input and suppot in defining, documenting and maintaining test strategies for the ERP project
3. Take part in Risk analysis sessions where the test coverage is distributed according to the risk level
4. support test manager in monitoring the progress of system and acceptance test and track the bug status
5. Assess a solution for Non-functional quality attributes (Performance, reliability etc.) from test perspective
