Job summary

Digerati Systems Inc. in Pune is seeking an experienced Test Lead with 10–12 years of QA experience in Banking/Financial Services domain testing.

You will lead QA activities, define test strategies, and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure end-to-end test coverage. Responsibilities include managing testing efforts for banking applications, creating test plans, reviewing requirements, and supervising test design, data, and defect triage.

Qualifications

• 10–12 years of overall QA/Testing experience.
• Strong experience in Manual Testing and Test Leadership.
• Strong knowledge of STLC, SDLC, Test Strategy, Test Planning, Risk-Based Testing, and Defect Management.
• Strong experience with API testing and SQL/database validation.
• Experience with JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience leading QA teams and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to independently drive QA activities from requirement analysis through production release.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end testing activities for banking applications.
• Analyze business requirements, BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and business processes.
• Define Test Strategy, Test Plan, Test Approach, Scope, Entry/Exit Criteria, and Test Estimates.
• Review requirements and identify testing risks, dependencies, and gaps.
• Lead preparation and review of test scenarios, test cases, test data, and RTM.
• Manage Functional, Integration, System, Regression, UAT, Smoke, Sanity, and Release testing.
• Ensure comprehensive end-to-end banking workflow coverage.
• Lead API and database validation activities using Postman and SQL.
• Coordinate defect management, prioritization, root-cause analysis, and defect triage.
• Track QA metrics, defect trends, test execution status, risks, and overall quality.
• Mentor and guide junior and senior QA engineers.
• Review test deliverables and ensure adherence to QA standards and processes.
• Coordinate with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, Project Managers, and Business Stakeholders.
• Provide regular QA status updates to management and stakeholders.
• Support UAT, production deployment, release validation, and post-production verification.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased testing efficiency.
• Work within Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
