Kumaran Systems is seeking an experienced QA Lead to drive end-to-end testing across multiple projects. You will mentor manual and automation engineers, advance quality initiatives, and collaborate with product, development, and delivery teams to achieve quality goals.

Responsibilities include managing test environments, data, defects, and release readiness, plus delivering quality metrics and executive status updates. Strong leadership, communication, and Agile/DevOps experience are essential.

• Lead end-to-end test strategy, planning, execution, and delivery across multiple projects and releases.
• Manage and mentor QA teams comprising both Manual and Automation Test Engineers.
• Drive quality engineering initiatives across Web, API, and Mobile testing platforms.
• Collaborate with Business, Product, Development, and Delivery stakeholders to ensure quality objectives are achieved.
• Own and manage test environments, test data, defect management, and release readiness processes.
• Provide quality metrics, risk assessments, and executive-level status reports.
• Drive test automation adoption and CI/CD integration to enhance efficiency and test coverage.
• Lead resource planning, performance management, capability development, and team growth initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to QA best practices, governance standards, and continuous improvement programs.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test design techniques, and defect management processes.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, Tosca, RestAssured, and Java.
• Experience in Web UI, API, and Mobile Testing.
• Expertise in Test Environment Management, Test Data Management, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven experience in stakeholder management, people management, and delivery leadership.
• Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Experience working in Agile, Scrum, and DevOps environments.
