Qualifications

• Experience with ATE systems (Advantest, Mag series) preferred.
• Hands-on with calibration and preventive maintenance.
• Familiarity with ISO/IATF lab guidelines is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot ATE systems in semiconductor labs.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance with internal teams and vendors.
• Conduct daily system checks and verify network connectivity.
• Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, and mechanical issues.
• Execute calibration activities.
• Support engineers to improve test efficiency and throughput.
• Maintain equipment records in Confluence or similar.
• Ensure safety standards and lab ISO/IATF guidelines.
• Respond promptly to team requests and resolve bottlenecks.

Job Description:

We are seeking a Lab Equipment Engineer to oversee installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and reliability improvement of advanced manufacturing and test equipment in semiconductor labs. The role involves hands‑on ownership of ATE systems, preventive maintenance, calibration activities, IT/OS support, and cross‑team technical collaboration to ensure maximum uptime and reliability of lab infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Install, upgrade, and maintain advanced ATE systems (Advantest testers, Mag5, Mag2, chambers, ovens).
• Perform preventive & corrective maintenance, drive AMC/PMC activities with internal teams & vendors.
• Conduct daily system checks (SW updates, session management, DUT checks, network connectivity).
• Troubleshoot electrical, electronic & mechanical issues in lab equipment.
• Execute calibration activities (quarterly/half-yearly) for lab/tester equipment.
• Support engineers in improving overall test efficiency and throughput.
• Maintain documentation in equipment tracking/collaboration systems (Confluence or equivalent).
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, TPM/6S metrics, and ISO/IATF lab guidelines.
• Respond promptly to engineering teams requests and resolve equipment bottlenecks.

Key Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of Linux & Windows OS administration.
• Hands‑on experience in lab/test equipment troubleshooting (electro‑mechanical/electronic)
• Familiarity with ATE systems (Advantest, Mag series testers, chambers, ovens).
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance (AMC/PMC) and calibration practices.
• Networking/IT infrastructure knowledge for lab/test systems.

Good to Have:

• Scripting knowledge (Python/Shell) for automation.
• Familiarity with semiconductor/memory test processes.
• Understanding of ISO/IATF lab quality standards.
