onsemi in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced Product Test Engineer to drive product development for semiconductor devices. In this role, you will support product lines and business P&Ls, while focusing on test solutions and automation for Analog and Mixed Signal products.
The ideal candidate has at least 8 years of experience in product and test with a degree in Electrical Engineering. Proficiency in multiple coding languages such as C++, Python, and Java is essential. The role is full-time and involves working with cross-functional teams.
This position offers a great opportunity to work on industry leading semiconductor devices, targeted for broad applications in Automotive and Industrial markets. In this role, you’ll be a member of New Product Development team, tasked with supporting product lines and business P&Ls on new product development activities, including defining Analog/Digital DfT and test strategies, developing low-cost test solutions for complex Analog, Mixed Signal, and Digital roadmap products on ATE platforms, and productizing ICs in-line with business goals and growth projections. Knowledge and experience with software development utilizing C++ / C / Python / JAVA is necessary. Candidate should know ATE platform architecture and programming languages to develop low level ATE code for Analog / Mixed Signal blocks. End goal is to design and productize deep Analog and Mixed Signal test automated solutions, enabling organization benchmarks in quality, efficient code, and test-cost goals.
Good IC, test knowledge and background, across digital, analog, RF, and mixed-signal, along with knowledge of ATE platforms, DfT strategies and test methods, and test instrumentation requirements for various Analog, Mixed-Signal, and Digital tests is critical. Having additional experience and knowledge of high-speed interfaces (PCIe, Serdes, LPDDR, CSI/DSI, etc.) is considered a plus. Knowledge of high-voltage (>1kV) test requirements and careabouts is a must. Must have prior hands‑on experience working DfT, ATE Test Equipment for IC testing, and good understanding of ATE system architectures.
