Best NanoTech is seeking an ATE Digital & Mixed-Signal Validation / Test Development Engineer to drive semiconductor validation and production test development across WS and FT. You will create ATE programs, perform silicon bring-up, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize test coverage and yield.

The role requires 3–10 years of experience in semiconductor validation or production testing, and hands-on work with ATE systems and test fixtures in an onsite setting in India.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in electronics or related field.
  • 3–10 years of semiconductor validation or production testing experience.
  • Experience with ATE development and validation on product portfolios.

Responsibilities

  • Develop ATE test programs from scratch for WS and FT.
  • Perform first silicon bring-up, engineering validation, and silicon debugging.
  • Develop Functional, DC, AC, Timing, and Parametric test methodologies.
  • Support NPI, EV, Product Qualification, and Production Release.
  • Characterize silicon across Process, Voltage, and Temperature (PVT).
  • Analyze WS/FT data to improve yield and reduce test time.
  • Develop and debug load boards, probe cards, interface hardware, and fixtures.
  • Perform failure analysis and root-cause investigations.
  • Develop automation scripts for test execution and data analysis.
  • Collaborate with Design, Product Engineering, Reliability, Foundry, Applications, and Manufacturing.
  • Maintain technical documentation and validation reports.
  • Support continuous improvement of production test methodologies and coverage.

ATE Digital & Mixed-Signal Validation / Test Development Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for an ATE Digital & Mixed-Signal Validation/Test Development Engineer to support semiconductor product validation, characterization, and production test development. The role involves developing ATE test programs, silicon bring-up, engineering validation, and production test optimization across Wafer Sort (WS) and Final Test (FT). The engineer will work closely with Product Engineering, Design, Reliability, Applications, and Manufacturing teams throughout the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop ATE test programs from scratch for Wafer Sort (WS) and Final Test (FT).
  • Perform first silicon bring-up, engineering validation, and silicon debugging.
  • Develop Functional, DC, AC, Timing, and Parametric test methodologies based on product specifications.
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI), Engineering Validation (EV), Product Qualification, and Production Release.
  • Perform silicon characterization across Process, Voltage, and Temperature (PVT) conditions.
  • Analyze Wafer Sort and Final Test data to improve yield, optimize test limits, and reduce test time.
  • Develop and debug load boards, probe cards, interface hardware, and test fixtures.
  • Perform failure analysis and root cause investigation by correlating ATE and bench measurements.
  • Develop automation scripts for test execution, data analysis, and engineering productivity.
  • Collaborate with Design, Product Engineering, Reliability, Foundry, Applications, and Manufacturing teams.
  • Maintain technical documentation and validation reports.
  • Support continuous improvement of production test methodologies and test coverage.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in one of the following:
  • Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE)
  • Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE)
  • Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering (EIE)
  • Instrumentation Engineering
  • Embedded Systems
  • VLSI Design
  • Semiconductor Technology
  • Related Engineering Discipline
  • 3 10 years of experience in semiconductor validation, characterization, ATE development, or production testing.
  • Experience working on semiconductor products during engineering validation or production is preferred.
