Job summary

Digitral is seeking a skilled QA Engineer with at least 2+ years of experience in mobile application testing to join our Hyderabad team. The role focuses on QA activities for mobile apps, coordinating with developers to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.

Responsibilities include testing mobile apps, API testing, basic automation, DB verification, and following Agile/Scrum processes. Strong communication and familiarity with AI testing tools are expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in Mobile App Testing.
• Experience in API testing and basic API automation.
• Basic mobile automation understanding.
• Ability to perform basic database verification and check logs for debugging.
• Proficient in creating and executing clean test cases within Agile/Scrum.
• Strong communication and coordination with developers.

Responsibilities

• Perform QA activities for mobile applications and collaborate with developers.
• Design, write, and execute test cases and report defects clearly.
• Verify APIs and perform basic API automation where applicable.
• Review GCP logs or related logs to help debug issues.
• Adhere to Agile/Scrum processes and defect lifecycles.
• Utilize AI tools to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.

Job description

We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer with at least 2+ years of experience in mobile application testing. The candidate will be responsible for performing QA activities for mobile applications and collaborating closely with developers to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mobile App Testing: Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in Mobile Application Testing. Strong understanding of mobile application terminology, functionality, and testing concepts.
• API & Automation: Good knowledge of API testing and basic API automation. Basic understanding of mobile automation concept
• Debugging & DB: Ability to perform basic database verification and know how to check GCP logs to debug errors.
• General QA Practices: Proficiency in writing clean, comprehensive test cases and executing them effectively. Good understanding of Agile/Scrum processes and standard defect management lifecycles.
• Communication & Coordination: This is critical. Good communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work directly with developers and clearly explain issues and root causes.
• Good knowledge and hands-on experience using AI tools.

Preferred Qualification:

• ISTQB certification is preferred.
