Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and test automation.
• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium).
• Experience in automated API tests using Postman or Rest Assured.
• Mobile testing experience (Android/iOS) and strong SQL/database testing knowledge.
• Familiarity with SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and test planning.
• Strong analytical, communication, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and in team settings.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to ensure quality across the SDLC.
• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance automated test frameworks and scripts.
• Develop automated API, web, and mobile test cases and execute them.
• Plan and execute functional, regression, and end‑to‑end tests for new features.
• Identify and document defects, risks, and quality concerns to stakeholders.
• Maintain thorough test documentation including test data and results.
• Measure software quality using KPIs and contribute to release quality.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with a focus on test automation.
• Hands‑on experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or similar).
• Experience in designing and developing automated API tests using tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, or equivalent.
• Experience in mobile application testing (Android and/or iOS).
• Strong knowledge of SQL and database testing.
• Good understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and Agile/Scrum practices.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑functional Agile teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to production release.
• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance automated test frameworks and reusable test scripts.
• Develop and execute automated API, web, and mobile application test cases.
• Contribute to the timely delivery of high‑quality software releases through effective test planning and execution.
• Identify, analyze, document, and proactively communicate defects, risks, and quality concerns to stakeholders.
• Maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test cases, test data, execution results, and defect reports.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and end‑to‑end testing for new features and enhancements.
• Track, measure, and report software quality using appropriate metrics and KPIs.
• Work closely with Engineering, Product Management, Technical Operations, and business stakeholders to ensure product quality.
• Continuously improve testing processes, automation coverage, and quality assurance practices.
• Identify functional edge cases and perform exploratory testing to uncover potential issues beyond standard workflows.
