Job Summary

Activities contributing to the verification and validation of PET-CT medical imaging systems, covering software, hardware, electronics, image quality, radiation safety, and system integration. The role emphasizes automation-driven verification and validation methodologies to improve test efficiency, accuracy, and coverage. It includes activities linked to the technical improvement of existing products and components, ensuring compliance with system and subsystem requirements and regulatory standards. The role impacts the quality of work through execution of defined operational and technical tasks in Agile environments, with flexibility to adapt execution based on changing situations.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement verification and validation strategies for PET-CT systems across system and subsystem levels.
• Execute manual and automated testing for product verification and validation, ensuring compliance with functional and non-functional requirements.
• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Python for scalable testing.
• Perform automation testing with Selenium and Playwright to ensure high-quality product releases.
• Develop and manage Docker-based test environments for reproducible and efficient execution.
• Perform testing and debugging in Linux-based environments to validate system reliability.
• Analyze system failures, perform troubleshooting, and provide detailed defect and root-cause analysis reports.
• Determine appropriate test environments, tools, and automation strategies aligned with product requirements.
• Collaborate with development, system, automation framework, and global teams to ensure end-to-end product quality.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Support development of test infrastructure, instrumentation, and verification and validation tools.
• Develop a strong understanding of system behavior and contribute to improving testing efficiency and product quality.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent engineering discipline.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in verification and validation of healthcare or medical device products.
• Strong expertise in Python programming and automation framework development.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium and Playwright for test automation.
• Experience with Docker for containerized test environments.
• Strong working knowledge of Linux systems.
• Domain expertise in Healthcare / Medical Devices.
• Good understanding of Software QA processes and Agile methodologies.
• Strong documentation skills for test design, scripts, and requirements traceability.
• Quality-focused mindset with high attention to detail.
• Good organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
• Knowledge of Java programming.
• Familiarity with Robot Framework.
• Experience with Jenkins for CI/CD and automation pipelines.

Employment Details

Non-hybrid, full-time onsite position with a five-day workweek. Flexible working hours, including 2–3 evening shifts (14:00–23:00) per week as needed. Work in global programs requiring cross-location collaboration, including extended or flexible work hours.
