Job summary

GE Healthcare is seeking a Software Test Automation Engineer to work on Ultrasound Digital products that provide clinical intelligence for clinicians and end users. You will collaborate across engineering teams, apply Agile and Lean methodologies, and develop both manual and automated tests to ensure healthcare-grade quality.

As a Software Test Automation Engineer, you’ll be working on a state of the art Ultrasound Digital products that provides clinical intelligence for the clinicians/end users. Roles and Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Collaborate with system engineers, frontend developers and software developers to implement solutions that are aligned with and extend shared platforms and solutions
• Apply principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques
• Writes codes that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project
• Build features such as web services and Queries on existing tables
• Develop Manual Test Scripts and should have strong experience on executing manual tests
• Convert Manual test script to automation scripts and Develop Automation tests for verification of complex healthcare critical systems
• Flexible to change and strive for continuous personal development and test process improvement, learn new technology to build automation suites and adhere to the project requirement
• Create and execute system level test plans, Procedures, perform tests, and document Verification Results
• Should have hands on experience to define the test scope, author the system level test plans, test procedures, execute & document verification results and consolidate the reports
• Well versed with functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, UI Testing, Report Testing end to end testing to ensure the complete coverage of the test conditions for respective module
• Should be able to review, understand and challenge the system requirements for scope, risk, suitability and testability
• Strong hands experience on UI Testing, cross browser testing and Good to have experience on device testing
• Demonstrated troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Good to have Knowledge of Healthcare Domain with Understanding of Healthcare Standards such as DICOM, HL7, IHE etc.
• Good knowledge on Image quality testing
• Exposure working on AWS , Microservices and having knowledge on micro front-end architecture
• Delivers tasks on-time, identify and raise issues, risks discovered
• Reacts open-mindedly to new perspectives or ideas. Continuously learns, and considers creative solutions when appropriate

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor' s Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with basic experience.

Required Skills

• Minimum 3+ years' experience in Automation and Manual Testing.
• Hands on experience with Test execution with Automation and Manual Testing
• Automation: - Squish, QT framework API Testing SOAP/ Rest/Postman App Testing (Automating the application on the devices, i,e. IOS, Android or Windows) Fair Knowledge of AWS components/ Services Scripting Language Python Utilizing and Implementing CI/CD
• Automation Test management Tools: - Microfocus ALM, Rally Functional Testing and Healthcare domain knowledge Good Documentation Skill
• Good to have Skills: Data and ETL Testing Integration Testing GitLab/Jenkins BDD / Selenium / Cucumber, Serenity, Jbehave Functional Test Automation Framework Test Strategy and Planning, Test Design and Execution
• Other Skills: Report Testing Shell Scripting Perl or Java Understanding of Performance and Security Testing Ready to learn up on the Automation aspects and to adopt latest and new technology Relevant Technical and Test certification Good knowledge of the Scaled Agile, Scrum, DevOps, Lean, Daily Management
