Role and Responsibilities
- Plan and implement verification and validation strategies for PET‑CT systems at system and subsystem levels.
- Build automated product verification tests ensuring compliance with functional and non‑functional requirements.
- Design, develop and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Python.
- Execute automation tests with Selenium and Playwright to support high‑quality releases.
- Develop and manage Docker‑based test environments for reproducible and efficient execution.
- Test and debug in Linux environments to validate system reliability.
- Determine appropriate test environments, tools and automation strategies aligned with product requirements.
- Collaborate with development, system, technical leads, architects and global teams to ensure end‑to‑end product quality.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Support development of test infrastructure, instrumentation and verification tools.
- Drive increased efficiency across teams by eliminating duplication and leveraging product and technology reuse.
- Work in global programs requiring cross‑location collaboration, including extended or flexible work hours.
Educational Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or an equivalent engineering discipline.
Required Skills
- Minimum 6+ years of experience in automation for healthcare or medical device products.
- Strong expertise in Python programming and automation framework development.
- Hands‑on experience with Selenium and Playwright for test automation.
- Experience with Docker for containerized test environments.
- Strong working knowledge of Linux systems.
- Domain expertise in Healthcare / Medical Devices.
- Technical leadership in an agile team.
- Ability to translate product requirements and vision into prioritized user stories and deliver on timeline and quality standards.
- Experience developing multi‑generation software technology plans with product and architecture leads.
- Good understanding of Software QA processes and Agile methodologies.
- Strong documentation skills for test design, scripts and requirements traceability.
- Quality‑focused mindset with high attention to detail and strong analytical/problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to document, plan, and execute programs.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Behavior‑Driven Development (BDD).
- Knowledge of Java programming.
- Familiarity with Robot Framework.
- Experience with Jenkins for CI/CD and automation pipelines.
