Job summary

AlgoShack in Bengaluru seeks a senior test automation leader to define and evolve the automation strategy and to build scalable UI/API testing frameworks. You will integrate automation into CI/CD, mentor juniors, and collaborate with Development, Product, and DevOps teams to ensure high coverage and reliability across diagnostics and releases.

The role requires 10+ years in software testing or development, healthcare domain knowledge with DICOM, and strong leadership capabilities in Agile

Responsibilities

• Define, own, and evolve the test automation strategy aligned with business objectives and release goals.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks covering UI (web & desktop), API, integration, and backend testing.
• Build and maintain integration and acceptance test suites for downstream solution upgrades.
• Act as a quality gate during Diagnostic Suite promotions and releases.
• Drive automation for smoke, sanity, regression, UI, API, and integration test suites.
• Perform and guide functional, regression, integration, performance, and API testing.
• Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines and ensure reliable execution.
• Analyse test failures, identify root causes, and drive resolution in collaboration with engineering teams.
• Write high-quality, maintainable automation code using Java-based frameworks (e.g., Selenium).
• Review test code and provide feedback to improve design, stability, and coverage.
• Collaborate closely with Development, Product, and DevOps teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership in automation best practices.
• Manage test data, test environments, and automation dependencies effectively.
