Job summary

Simple Energy in Bengaluru is seeking a Territory Service Manager to oversee North Karnataka operations (base: Yelahanka). You will lead service processes, manage dealer relations, and drive customer satisfaction through strategic manpower and training initiatives.

Candidates should have 5-8 years in automotive after-sales and a degree in Engineering or Automobile/Mechanical fields, with strong dealer/customer relations and business expansion knowledge.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years with significant experience in Automotive After Sales & Service operations.
• Bachelor of Engineering or diploma in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering.
• Fair understanding of business expansion.
• Product and general Automobile business knowledge.
• Proven dealer/customer relations skills both in person and over the telephone.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all business aspects in place (Manpower hiring and training).
• Maintain good relations with Dealers.
• Communicate and determine customers' needs.
• Sell dealership service capabilities based on features, advantages, and benefits.
• Share and implement best practices to achieve high customer service.
• Lead a team of city managers to manage service processes.
• Ensure dealer performance profit guidelines.
• Drive faster closure on corrective advice for field vehicles.
• Conduct regular surveys of competitors to feed service process optimization.
• Prepare and submit accurate zone-wise KPI report monthly.
• Spot negative budget movements and alert management.
• Monitor customer complaints and warranty issues.
• Budget for spares and subscriptions and ensure timely payments.
• Conduct periodic customer satisfaction surveys and strive to exceed CSI.
• Escalate field issues to CQA.
• Close on Claim escalation with the finance team.
• Provide technical guidance with CQA support.
• Train the team on above aspects.

Job Description: Territory Service Manager

Location: North Karnataka (Base: Yelahanka)

What You'll Do

• Ensure all business aspects in place (i.e., Manpower hiring, Manpower Training).
• Maintain good relations with Dealers.
• Communicate and determine customers' needs
• Sell the dealership service capabilities based on features, advantages, and benefits.
• Share and implement best practices in order to achieve a high level of customer service.
• Lead a team of city managers to manage service processes.
• Ensure dealer performance profit guidelines.
• Drive faster closure on corrective advice for field vehicles.
• Conduct regular surveys of competitors in the local market to feed optimization in service process (quality and profitability)
• Prepare and submit accurate zone-wise KPI report by the end of every month
• Spot negative movements in budget assumption and alert management
• Monitor customer complaints and warranty issues.
• Budget for the spares and subscriptions and ensure achievement of the targets. Also ensure timely collection of payments.
• Conduct periodical customer satisfaction surveys and strive to exceed the CSI with different customers.
• Escalate any surge in any field issues to CQA.
• Ensure quick closure on Claim escalation with the finance team.
• Provide technical guidance where solutions and troubleshooting is required, with the help of CQA
• Train the team on the aspects mentioned above.

What You Bring

• A Bachelor of Engineering degree or a diploma in Automobile / Mechanical Engineering
• 5-8 years with significant experience in Automotive After Sales & Service operations.
• Fair understanding on expansion of business.
• Product and general Automobile Business knowledge.
• Proven dealer / customer relations skills both in person and over the telephone.
