Job Title: Territory Account Manager – Trauma
Location: Jaipur, Rajasthan
Role Overview
The Territory Account Manager will be responsible for sales of Trauma Implants and Power Systems in key accounts within the designated territory, achieving or exceeding sales targets in accordance with company policies and values.
Key Responsibilities
- Sell franchise products/implants and equipment within the territory.
- Close Comprehensive Annual Maintenance Contracts (CAMC) for equipment and machines.
- Collaborate with biomedical teams and hospital purchase departments to generate demand and negotiate deals.
- Provide weekly and monthly sales action plans to management.
- Analyze sales reports to identify opportunities, troubleshoot issues, and recommend solutions.
- Negotiate and close sales in routine situations; seek guidance for complex deals.
- Participate in trade displays and conferences as required.
- Develop a territory plan, identify tender/contract opportunities, and implement it with colleagues.
- Train surgeons on new technologies through consult‑in‑surgery, one‑to‑one and one‑to‑many sessions.
- Show product demonstrations and guide surgeons through technical aspects.
- Assist in planning and delivering customer in‑service education sessions.
- Maintain relationships with all customer levels—CSSD, OT In‑charge, biomedical personnel.
- Prepare a key account development plan, identify decision‑makers, and document customer data.
- Optimize cross‑selling opportunities and collaborate with managers/colleagues to realize growth.
- Manage consigned inventory and maintenance of consigned instruments.
- Provide inventory support in line with company guidelines.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of product features, benefits, correct application, and market competition.
- Collect and monitor usage data from trained surgeons to encourage adoption.
- Develop and implement a distribution network; maintain stock counts and replenish supplies as required.
- Maintain healthy instrument condition, replace damaged items, and ensure distributor health meets guidelines.
- Manage accounts receivable and operating expenses (transportation, A&P, entertainment, travel) sustainably.
- Request approval for budget variations; adhere to sample issuance and coordination guidelines.
- Plan sample and expense utilization to stay within budget.
- Identify actions for personal performance improvement and participate in training programs.
- Actively pursue business outcomes while maintaining ethical standards.
Qualifications
- Science graduate (preferred).
- Minimum 4–5 years of experience selling medical devices.
- Experience managing HCP KOLs.
- Trauma experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Hindi (state language) and English.
