Job summary

Job description

• Identify and review electrical tender opportunities from government, private, EPC, industrial, commercial, and infrastructure projects.
• Study tender documents, drawings, BOQs, specifications, scope of work, and contractual requirements.
• Prepare electrical quantity take-offs, BOQs, estimates, and cost sheets.
• Obtain and compare quotations from suppliers, manufacturers, and subcontractors.
• Prepare techno-commercial tender proposals and ensure competitive pricing.
• Analyze electrical materials such as cables, switchgear, transformers, panels, lighting, earthing, DG systems, UPS, and other electrical equipment.
• Prepare rate analysis, material cost, labour cost, subcontractor cost, overheads, and margins.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, finance, vendors, and project teams for tender preparation.
• Prepare tender comparison statements and negotiate with vendors/subcontractors for better rates.
• Ensure all tender requirements, forms, declarations, technical documents, and commercial documents are completed before submission.
• Track tender submission deadlines and maintain a database of submitted and awarded tenders.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and prepare technical/commercial queries and clarifications.
• Review amendments, corrigenda, and revised tender documents and incorporate changes into the offer.
• Assist in contract review, negotiation, and post-tender clarification with clients.
• Maintain records of tender costs, vendor quotations, historical rates, and project databases.
• Support the business development team in preparing presentations and client submissions.
