Job summary

NCR Voyix invites an experienced Telecom Network Engineer to monitor, support, and resolve incidents for Genesys cloud infrastructure and Cisco IPT across global locations. You will contribute to delivering systems that enhance customer experience via voice, data, and video services.

The role requires 2–4 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS/Engineering, and on-site responsibilities with 24x5 on-call support. You will work within a global team at NCR Voyix.

Qualifications

• Experience with multi-site Genesys PureCloud configurations for a multi-location contact center.
• Operational knowledge of Cisco Call Manager and Unity Connection.
• Basic knowledge of call routing in Cisco IPT design.
• Able to configure Jabber for Windows, Android & Mac.
• Able to analyse call routing for Local, National & International calls.
• Experience with PureInsights reporting platform.

Job Description

As a member of NCR VOYIX Telecom Network Engineering team, the Engineer will have responsibility for monitoring, supporting, and handling incidents and requests of Genesys cloud infrastructure & Cisco IPT in a global multi-location contact center, corporate and branch office environment. Delivery of systems and technologies to enhance the customer experience through advanced technology development and execution on technology strategies for voice, data, and video services.

Primary Skill Set

• Experience with multi-site GENESYS PureCloud configurations for a multi-location contact center.


• Operational Knowledge of Cisco Call manager, Unity connection.


• Basic knowledge of call routing in cisco IPT design.


• Able to configure jabber for Windows, Android & Mac.


• Able to analyses call routing like Local, National & International Call


• Experience with PureInsights reporting platform.

Secondary Skill Set

• Data Networking (Genesys routing/switching, QOS)


• Monitoring and Reporting Applications


• Telecommunications: FXO/FXS/PRI/T1/DS3 Circuits & Signaling Protocols.


• Basic knowledge of leased Line, MPLS & SD-WAN


• Working knowledge of Cisco Routers & Switches


• Basic knowledge of Cisco Meraki


• Able to upgrade switch/router IOS.


• Has the interest to learn new technologies.


• Process to raise cisco TAC case & working experience with Cisco TAC.


• General Architecture (LAN/WAN Networks)


• SIP, Mgcp, SS7 & other VoIP protocol basic call flow.


• Configuration and creation of VLAN


• Sound knowledge of DNS and Infoblox tool.

Non-Technical Skills

• Experience: Overall, 2-4 years of experience.


• General Attributes: (Strong written, verbal, MS-Office Application skills)


• Adept at reading, writing, and interpreting technical documentation and procedure manuals

Work Conditions

• 24x5 & weekend On-call support or 24x7 as required.
