Job summary

NCR Voyix is seeking a Telecom Network Engineer to monitor, support, and resolve incidents for Genesys cloud and Cisco IPT across global locations.

You will contribute to service delivery, performance improvements, and customer experience enhancements with voice, data, and video technologies in a corporate/networked setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or engineering from an accredited college or university.
• 2–4 years of experience in telecom network engineering or related IT fields.
• Experience with multi-site Geniesys PureCloud configurations and Cisco IPT environments.
• Strong knowledge of DNS/Infoblox and basic network concepts.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, support, and handle incidents for Genesys cloud infrastructure and Cisco IPT in a global multi-location setup.
• Deliver systems and technologies to enhance customer experience through voice, data, and video services.
• Collaborate to implement technology strategies and ensure reliable service delivery.

Job Description:
As a member of NCR VOYIX Telecom Network Engineering team, the Engineer will have responsibility for monitoring, supporting, and handling incidents and requests of Genesys cloud infrastructure & Cisco IPTin a global multi-location contact center, corporate and branch office environment.Delivery of systems and technologies to enhance the customer experience through advanced technology development and execution on technology strategies for voice, data, and video services.

Primary Skill Set:

• Experience with multi-site GENESYS PureCloud configurations for a multi-location contact center.
• Operational Knowledge of Cisco Call manager, Unity connection.
• Basic knowledge of call routing in cisco IPT design.
• Able to configure jabber for Windows, Android & Mac.
• Able to analyses call routing like Local, National & International Call
• Experience with PureInsights reporting platform.

Secondary Skill Set:

• Data Networking (Genesys routing/switching, QOS)
• Monitoring and Reporting Applications
• Telecommunications: FXO/FXS/PRI/T1/DS3 Circuits & Signaling Protocols.
• Basic knowledge of leased Line, MPLS & SD-WAN
• Working knowledge of Cisco Routers & Switches
• Basic knowledge of Cisco Meraki
• Able to upgrade switch/router IOS
• Has the interest to learn new technologies
• Process to raise cisco TAC case & working experience with Cisco TAC
• General Architecture (LAN/WAN Networks)
• SIP, Mgcp, SS7 & other VoIP protocol basic call flow
• Configuration and creation of VLAN
• Sound knowledge of DNS and Infoblox tool

• Experience: Overall, 2-4 years of experience.

• 24x5 & weekend On-call support or 24x7 as required.
