Job summary

NCR Voyix is seeking a network operations professional to install, configure, and manage LAN/WAN infrastructure across multiple sites. The role involves Cisco Routers, Switches, Meraki, and Nexus devices, ensuring security, performance, and uptime.

You will monitor networks, respond to incidents, and produce detailed documentation while coordinating with cross-functional teams. The position requires readiness for rotational shifts and weekend on-call support.

Qualifications

  • Experience configuring Cisco networking gear (Routers, Switches, Meraki, Nexus).
  • Knowledge of SD-WAN (Velo/Versa) and Cisco ISE/DNAC.
  • Experience with Cisco ACI and Nexus 7k/9k operations.
  • Ability to manage multi-site WAN and 24x7 on-call support.

Responsibilities

  • Install and configure LAN/WAN network equipment (Cisco Routers, Switches, Meraki, Nexus).
  • Develop and monitor policies for network resource usage.
  • Evaluate and implement security improvements and system upgrades.
  • Monitor the network to ensure optimal performance.
  • Test product releases to minimize user impact and ensure compatibility.
  • Create technical documentation for network devices.
  • Provide oversite for multi-site WAN including planning, implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Prepare and maintain network configurations and cabling layouts.
  • Design and deploy wireless infrastructure and supporting systems (Cisco WLC models).
  • Manage Cisco Meraki APs and recommend upgrades.
  • Research approaches for network administration tasks and address security holes.
  • Document incidents and report resolutions to senior team members.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex network problems.
  • Assist in network changes and updates under supervision.

Responsibilities
  • Install and configure LAN/WAN network equipment i.e. Cisco Routers, Cisco Traditional/Meraki Switches and Nexus Switches.
  • Develop and monitor policies for the use of network resources.
  • Evaluate and recommend security improvements and system upgrades.
  • Monitor the network to ensure optimal performance.
  • Test release of products to minimize user impact and ensure compatibility.
  • Create technical support documentation for Network Devices.
  • Should have troubleshooting and configuration knowledge of Velo/Versa SD-WAN
  • Should have troubleshooting knowledge of Cisco ISE & DNAC solutions.
  • Should have troubleshooting and basic operational knowledge of Cisco ACI.
  • Should have troubleshooting and Operational knowledge of Nexus 7k/9k.
  • Provide technical oversight of a multi-site enterprise-level WAN, including planning, implementation/expansion, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation of network configurations and cabling layouts.
  • Design, deploy, and administer the wireless infrastructure and supporting systems i.e. Cisco Wireless Controllers 2500/4500/5500/9000 Models.
  • Management of Cisco Meraki AP’s
  • Recommend upgrades, patches, and new applications and equipment.
  • Research and recommend approaches for Network administration tasks.
  • Analyze and monitor Network security and implement patches and fixes to address potential security holes.
  • Document incidents, track resolutions, and provide detailed reports to senior team members.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to elevate and resolve complex network problems.
  • Assist in the implementation of network changes and updates under supervision.
  • This job role requires candidates to monitor the network. The team works on a 24x7 basis and on call support during the weekends. Team members are required to work rotational shifts including night shift.
